A petty thief living with his mother, signs up for a penpal service in hopes of finding a friend, or maybe more. Unfortunately, his penpal has other plans.

“Tense, funny, really well shot/edited, and very good at making every bad decision tighten the ‘mousetrap’ a little more, progressively building tension towards the climax.”
“This film is the endpoint of what happens when game meets game. It takes seriously people who live on the cusp — the small-time schemers, hustlers, and cross-cultural outcasts you might otherwise be ashamed to associate with.”
“This gets weird in a refreshingly original way. The story does a good job setting up both main characters as compelling and gives you a deep look into how they think before setting them up for collision.”
“A sharp, unsettling indie crime drama that turns a seemingly small premise into something far more layered and emotionally resonant.”
“Saw at a festival screening and was blown away. The director/cast were there talking about the budget and hurdles they jumped — truly amazing what talented people can do with even a micro budget. Recommend!”
“I was uncomfortable the entire time so I would say it was a success! The fast paced stealing scenes were my favorite parts, but I wasn’t ever bored when it slowed down. A wild ride!”
“Really loved this movie. Loved the pacing, the story, and the characters. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you to the screenwriter and director/producer!”
“Standout film. Excellent acting and smart script. The second half kept me shifting in my seat and on edge — exactly the discomfort you want to feel during a good suspense thriller.”
“Good thriller and shows great promise. Saw it at a film festival and it was a standout. Excited to see what the actors do next!”
